Testimonials

"I was so lucky to find Keren and have her edit my book, "Girlfriend 911." She is an outstanding editor; her attention to detail and ability to see the bigger picture and understand the story I was trying to tell was second to none. She really took the time to get to know me and my unique voice and helped me stay true to that throughout her editing process. Keren is thorough, patient, and I really value her expertise, story insights, and editing skills. Working with her was such a great experience!"

"Keren is not only smart and has a way with words, she is great to work with—

easy-going and accurate at the same time. Although I was her "mentor," I send her

all my stories because she has a great editorial eye and knows what needs to stay and

what needs to go. I'd hire her to edit/write almost anything!"

—Amy Klein, journalist and author of "The Trying Game: Get Through Fertility Treatment and Get Pregnant Without Losing Your Mind"

"When I started working with Keren, I had been trying to write a memoir for nearly seven years. I had taken classes, workshops, gone on writer’s retreats, and worked with a previous editor. After all that time and work, I felt no closer to publishing my memoir than when I started. I had what I affectionately referred to as a “Big Hot Mess.” I had written a lot, but I had no structure and no clear direction for my book.

After reviewing my manuscript, Keren sent me a six-page breakdown on every aspect of my memoir. I had never received such an extensive evaluation of my work. Keren was honest and forthcoming with her feedback, not misleading me about the quality of my work or the status of my manuscript. Keren’s ongoing notes and feedback provided me with invaluable insights into my writing. With Keren’s coaching and knack for structure, I saw my “Big Hot Mess” take shape. Over many months, Keren and I worked together to complete an entire outline for my memoir as well as completing the first chapter for proposal submission. No small feats!

After many months of working with Keren, she has become more like a partner than an editor. I no longer feel alone on my journey of making sense of this craft called Memoir. Keren has provided a guiding light, inspiration, and a much-needed blueprint to proceed."
